You are the viceroy of the Scorched Queen, appointed by her in order to subjugate the barren wastes and find the lost treasures of the Smoldering City, the last bastion of civilization, miraculously withstood the Rotten Storm that destroyed the old world. In most survival city builders, you control just one city, but in Against the Storm your task is to build a huge network of thriving settlements, home to different fantastical peoples with different lifestyles, needs and skills.

In undeveloped lands, many unexpected threats await you, and incessant storms will prevent your charges from rebuilding. You will lose your settlements, expeditions will fail, but this does not mean defeat. Against the Storm is a roguelike game, which means that even if you fail, you can continue your mission, retaining the resources, upgrades and experience from previous campaigns.

Take advantage of the diversity of your residents
Beavers, lizards, humans and harpies help each other survive in this dangerous world. Use the strengths of each race to meet the needs of all. Build suitable housing and provide everyone with food, produce luxury goods and organize leisure time. Sew raincoats, brew ale, bake pies - in any way try to raise the morale of the population, which is constantly threatened by a dangerous and unexplored forest.

A city-building simulator with simplified roguelike features
Add roguelike elements to a classic city builder and you´ve got a game you can´t put down. Build new cities and collect valuable resources needed to improve the Smoldering City. Be prepared for Rotten Storms that destroy cities - while at the same time changing the world and providing new opportunities for development.

Each new game is different from the previous one
New city - new challenges: hundreds of gameplay modifiers and 5 different biomes await you. Prove that you are a talented and capable governor.

Adapt to challenging weather conditions and experiment with different settlement designs. There are many perks and building blueprints waiting for you, with which you can lead your settlement to prosperity or turn it into a lifeless wasteland. Use the resources available to you to gain an advantage, and do not forget to visit the merchant, who brings new goods every time. Organize expeditions into the forest, where valuable resources, untold treasures... and ancient dangers await you.

Build countless cities
Founding a new city is one of the most exciting moments in any city building game. In Against the Storm, you can constantly create new settlements, expanding your possessions, as well as interact and trade with previously built cities. How much will your cities grow before the storm hits... or will the Scorched Queen run out of patience?
